"Brushing For Trees
Software: Figma (Prototype link)
Directed audience/users: Children struggling with brushing habits
The main mechanic of "Brushing for Trees" has the goal of helping to reinforce brushing habits. As users complete daily brushing activities, they can receive a tree. The tree as a reward becomes an incentive for users to keep doing the daily activities. The "Calendar" page reinforces this idea further by tracking which days users received a tree.
Challenges:
- Prototype functions including tree growing and the calendar are not fully functional, and require further development
- Growing trees may not be a strong enough incentive, especially with it being a digital one

Journal Page
Clicking on the journal button will transfer users to a page where they can log daily activities (Morning and Night Brush). Each activity includes a 3-minute timer that is associated with the sprout at the bottom of the screen. This sprout grows as the timer decreases. If both activities are completed, the sprout will grow into a tree, acting as a completion award.

Calendar Page
Clicking on the calendar button will transfer users to a page that includes a way to log how many days users have fully completed daily activities. This would be expressed through a tree icon added to each date. This feature acts as a pseudo forest, providing an incentive for users to complete daily activities to fill out the calendar with trees.
