ABOUT ME
Hello there! My name is Jacob Theobald. I'm an aspiring UI/UX designer heavily interested in the process and testing areas of product design. Outside of UI/UX, I'm interested in game design, story narratives, and character design. I enjoy listening to jazz, funk, and alt rock.
I usually spend my free time playing video games. Some of my favorite games include Spiritfarer, Bloodborne, and Sonic Riders. I'm especially interested in those that innovate on past mechanics. Spiritfarer ties game progression to understanding grief from loss. Bloodborne revamps the "Dark Souls" formula with alternate weapon forms and items. Sonic Riders introduced a complex trick system and risk/reward fuel management not seen in other racing games.
I also play Dungeons and Dragons as player and dungeon master. I enjoy writing characters and adventures for the game. I also focus on innovating on the well-known D&D formula, especially in character designs and roleplay mechanics.
